Very dry skin can be both uncomfortable and prone to eczematous type breakouts, in response to many requests over the years for a product to help, we created this little pot of skin salvation. As with all ASAPOTH products, every ingredient has to earn its place in the final recipe and we are delighted with this one. Raw Shea Butter is included for its remarkable moisturising properties, Beeswax locks moisture on the skin and Almond and Jojoba oil soften and protect.

To this base we add Rosehip oil for its wonderful antioxidant and scar healing properties and for the same reason, our own Calendula oil made from the hundreds of plants we grow organically at the workshop. To this we add three herbs we forage from around the farm, that are often overlooked but which have a long history of healing the skin in western herbalism - Stellaria, Plantago and Cleavers. All three can offer effective support for eczematous skin.

To the butter, oils and herbs we add essential oils with a strong affinity for the skin - our own Lavandula Angustifolia and our beautifully blue, chamazulene rich Chamomile, both full of anti inflammatory, soothing properties. Bay and Oregano are also included because we have experienced their antiseptic and anti bacterial use in the Levant. The final addition of Graphites and Urtica urens are to help with skin conditioning.

It should be applied to the affected area 2-3 times daily. It is a potent little pot of plant power so it can be used sparingly.
