 If you are a freelancer, artist, therapist or micro business owner and you are keen to write regular blog posts for your website, or are looking for help and motivation with writing to grow your brand, then this workshop is for you.

A journal or blog on your website allows you to tell your unique story and spread awareness about your business or service. Regularly adding content to your site is a must if you want to build trust and grow reputation, as well as influence algorithms and get noticed in a busy and competitive marketplace.

In this inspiring and supportive workshop business writer and marketer Tara Gould will demystify the writing process and help you identify the great stories at the heart of your brand.

These sessions explore:

  • The practise and power of story telling: how you can channel your passions and niche expertise to create compelling blog posts that drive traffic to your site.

  • How to create an editorial calendar and plan a content strategy

  • How to use titles, keywords and tags to optimise your content

  • How to develop your writing voice, work through blocks and build writing confidence.

We will also have fun with some helpful writing exercises to warm-up and get the into the flow.

Tara Gould is an award winning, published writer with a Masters Degree in Creative Writing and has over 15 years of business writing experience. She writes for companies whose stories she feels passionately about including A.S.APOTHECARY, where she heads up editorial and marketing. She has created effective content for both national and international brands and helped many small local businesses share their stories and grow their businesses.

The workshop takes places in the lovely tranquil setting of the Lewes A.S.APOTHECARY shop and will include tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits.
